Paul Reeve started his fast paced production career while working as chief engineer at the Airfield Studios in Cornwall. During this time Paul cut his teeth at Sawmills Studio assisting producers such as John Leckie, John Cornfield, Sam Williams and Chris Allen working with artists such as Supergrass, Beta Band and Betty Boo.
Paul’s natural talents were obvious and he was soon asked to record, produce and mix tracks for the debut EP’s of a young band from Devon called MUSE. The band were so impressed by Paul’s sound that they asked him to co-produce (alongside John Leckie) their critically acclaimed debut album Showbiz and tracks on their third album Absolution.
Since this time, Paul has continued to work with many top artists including RAZORLIGHT, MOHAIR, French superstar DAVID HALLIDAY and a number of emerging artists including the hotly tipped NIXON AND THE BURN.
Paul is also an accomplished musician, singer and arranger, and has been an active member of WAYLAND (BMG/Figurehead) and BLUESKIN (Littlefish).
With his eclectic style, strong work ethic and fantastic ear Paul Reeve brings something exciting and fresh to every track.
Paul has recently completed work on an album for the highly regarded newcomers THE SOUND EXPLOSION (Sony/Captains of Industry) and produced the debut album from new Atlantic Records signing RUARRI JOSEPH.
